Russet Burbank Seed Potatoes

The Russet Burbank is a popular, late-season potato known for its large, oblong tubers with brown, russeted skin and fluffy white flesh, making it ideal for baking and frying. Developed by Luther Burbank, it's the classic "Idaho potato," requiring full sun, well-draining soil, and consistent moisture, and it stores exceptionally well. The plant itself has medium-sized leaves and produces flowers with dark green buds that drop easily. 

Russet Norkohta 278 Seed Potatoes

The Russet Norkotah 278 is a high-yielding, early-maturing and popular fresh-market potato strain. known for its uniform, large, and light-russeted tubers. Released from a Texas selection program, it excels in heat tolerance, vine strength, and Verticillium early-die resistance, making it an excellent choice for baking, mashing, and frying.

Farm pickup by appointment only in April, available during regular business hours beginning in May at Shields River Farm & Nursery in Wilsall.
